Playing with time – 1/2

It’s a mistake to think that our understanding of scientific principles is complete. Throughout history, previously established facts have been dis-proven and tweaked to give us new understanding of our world.

The flat-earth concept and the idea that the earth is central to the movement of the stars were both rejected in the light of new learning. One of the interesting suggestions that Tom Beardon talks about is the idea that time has mass. Playing with time is not just science fiction. . .

Thinking that Einstein and other scientific theories about time are complete and that they are the final understanding is foolishness, especially when history proves that man doesn’t always get it right. It’s even more foolish, when Einstein himself said that he was only touching the surface of his understanding of the physical world.

Locking an idea into stone and using it as a permanent benchmark is only fine as long as other ideas can also be explored. Beardon has some pretty whacky ideas conflicting head-on with mainstream Western science but he has enough of my respect to take a second look.

Playing with time gets scary. If time does have mass, as Beardon suggests, then it may be measurable in more than one dimension. It could be alterable (he claims that people have already been doing this), have different states, a point of beginning and perhaps a point of end. We could perhaps manipulate it and view it from different angles, and dimensions. To be honest, my brain is simply not up to Quantum “anything” but I do get the big picture - that there could easily be more to life than what we currently understand.

I’m a conspiracy theorist. I believe that governments and big business worldwide, are controlled by an occultic Illuminati, the central banking cartel, also influenced and entwined politically by religious movements and are pushing the world into what they call the New World Order. I believe that in the last 100 years all major scientific discoveries have been bought or stolen and then suppressed for financial and political advantage, and that society has been actively manipulated and that the public’s understanding of time is one of those subjects that has been suppressed.

In my twenties, I experience a bit of déjà vu, sometimes quite heavy experiences, where you have the feeling that you have seen this all before, and you know what’s about to happen, as it happens.

Experiencing something that you’ve “seen before” or having had a “premonition” or receiving a “prophecy” that has come true can sometimes be put down to chance, or another physical explanation, but I’m not going to write it off as impossible, especially when God states that He created time.

A biblical understanding of time matches with Beardon’s claim that there’s more to time than just an uncontrollable infinite resource that has always been there and always will be. The Bible explains that God is outside of time. Timeless.

Our Creator views time from a different perspective. Just as we view a country road from an aeroplane differently to a traveller in a car, so too can the Creator view time, and the events that occur in the space of time. Just as the capacity to advise a car driver which turn to take to get to a particular destination is outside of the driver’s dimension, so too is God’s capacity to advise us on the future from another dimension.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . . And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
Genesis 1:1,14

God says that He has always existed (outside of time) and that time was created.

When it comes to thinking through matters relating to time, it is the VICTUS IN AMBITUS way to listen to the one who created it.

What do you think about?
